The sotomee coached side recorded a 3-1 victory over vanguard FC in the ongoing Zik Hall league played at the maracana on 7th Saturday 2024.
Wisdom fired emergence ahead after a delightful pass from ajibola poking his effort at the near post making it 1-0.
Halfway through the game vanguard responded after Ekene the goalie was caught off guard with an error, his pass snatched by Dami who restored parity , leveling the scoreline .
The likes of Collins and olami were subbed in by coach victor and sotomee also injected Kenneth into the game
The sotomee coached side side took the game away from vanguard, with Ajibola smashing in a second for Emergence after being played through by Kenneth whose impact was felt in the game.
Emergence were not entirely infallible, though, with vanguard forward players – inevitably led by Dr show regularly finding space in behind to cause problems and test Ekene who pulled off magnificent saves on his debut.
Late in the game , wisdom turned provider after a quick counter laying off a timely waited pass , locating Kenneth who rounded off the scoreline with a third , sealing the victory and ensuring all three points . As emergence cruised with 3-1 win.
