In the evening of Saturday, November 10, 2024, Nnamdi Azikiwe Hall hosted an action-packed Gyration and Games Night that brought residents (Zikites) together for an evening of laughter, friendly competition, and camaraderie. The event, held at the B-Block basement and the hall's Junior Common Room (JCR), featured a variety of dance-offs, inter-floor Aro competition, and variety of games designed to foster community spirit while showcasing the hall's vibrant energy.
A standout moment of the evening was the collaboration with Monster Energy, which set up a dedicated station offering free Monster drinks to attendees. The energy drink fueled participants, ensuring everyone remained energized for the high-octane games and activities throughout the night.
Another highlight was the Common Pot gathering, a cherished tradition at the hall where Zikites come together to cook a large pot of food. As the savory aroma filled the air, students eagerly lined up for their share, creating a sense of unity and brotherhood. The communal meal reinforced the spirit of togetherness in the hall, with students from diverse backgrounds bonding over the simple yet meaningful act of sharing a meal.
The evening also featured a series of lively and traditional games like Ayò-Olopon, Ludo, among others with the combination of free Monster drinks, food, and exciting activities creating an electric atmosphere.
