Several days after different letters and petitions have been written to the University of Ibadan Students' Union by the students and the Student Representative Council, the SU has on Wednesday, 14th of August, 2024 released a call for congress.
According to a letter signed the president, Aweda Bolaji and general secretary, Ogundijo Dolapo, the Congress is to hold on Saturday, 17th of August, 2024.
Part of the items on the agenda is the school fees and Students loan issue on which students have continuously demanded an update.
Recall that the Aweda Bolaji-led administration had, earlier this session, told the students to hold off on paying the heavily increased school fees.
