Students Resume Protest, Marshaling from Zik to Indy Hall

By: Ajidara

The protest, which officially began at 10:20 PM on August 29, resumed today at 5:00 AM, with Zik Hall serving as the focal point of the mobilization.

The unrest stems from widespread student dissatisfaction with the Governing Council's decision to uphold the recent increase in school fees.

The students, through the student union, have outlined several demands, including the reversal of the fee hike and the shutdown of the school fees portal within 24 hours. The union has also called for a complete boycott of classes until these demands are addressed.

The protest gained momentum overnight, with hundreds of students rallying from Zik Hall, marching towards INdy, and chanting solidarity slogans.

The situation on campus remains tense, as students pledge to continue the boycott of classes and other academic activities until their demands are met.
