Invincibles pummelled galacticos 4-0 in a scintillating encounter of the zik hall league on the 3rd august 2024 at the zik hall maracana.
The game got off to a flying start with Jamie Kareem breaking the deadlock after being supplied by Afolabi. The Invincibles' early goal appeared to be a psychological collapse as they fought to regain their rhythm and poise

. The degree of coordination between J. Kareem and Afolabi appeared to be extraordinary as he beat the galacticos goalie with a diving cross headed by J. Kareem from close range, doubling the advantage from an awkward position. The man between the sticks, his expression showing disappointment and disgust, knows he should have done better. It was a preventable goal.
Mid way into the first half pogba came close to pulling one goal back but his effort was comfortably saved by mendy.
The second half began and the galacticos close to reducing the deficit when it's attacker was played through one on one against the keeper but his wicked strike pulled off a remarkable save from mendy denying the attacker.
The invincibles were not done as they compounded the woes of the galacticos scoring a third, after a beautiful exchange of passes splitting the defense of the galacticos .Pius the substitute flicking a delicate back heel to j.kareem who smashed a wicked hit to the top left corner to make it 3-0.
Everyone anticipated a fiercely contested game, but the invincibles controlled play, making it unfairly one-sided. They took up where they left off, running riot on their opponents like a hot knife through butter.
Mendy's goal kick caused chaos in the opposition's defense, and an own goal followed to make it 4-0. It was starting to become embarrassing for the Galacticos
Coach biggie ringed in more changes with the likes of Peter adeoti, Adeola junior coming on. Peter the substitute almost added the 5th after beating bobby jay and drifting to the right but his effort was saved by goalie. The game ended 4-0 after the referee signaled the end of the encounter. The invincibles display was a show of finesse, clinicality, a bit of showboating and professionalism
