The eleventh assembly of the University of Ibadan Students’ Representative Council, has announced its legislative summit. The summit themed “Legislation as a tool for effective governance” is designed to explore the role of legislation in effective governance,while discussing the transformative power of sound legislative frameworks.
The event scheduled for July 20, 2024,will be held at the Faculty of Education Large Lecture Theatre. The summit will also feature a panel session tagged “Implementation of SDG-16 as part of good governance”. Members of the panel will include past student leaders, policy makers, thought leaders and passionate advocates.
Interested individuals are expected to register for the workshop,as registration is very compulsory. Registration closes on Friday by 2pm.
