National Association of Ondo State Students, UI, Stands with UI' SU'

The National Association of Ondo State Students, University of Ibadan (NAOSS - UI), has, on July 17, expressed solidarity for the SU's stand on protest resolution to resolve matters of hike in school fees and its struggles.

This information was made available in a memo issued by the association. "We stand with the National Association of Ondo State Students, University of Ibadan (NAOSS - UI), hereby express our unwavering solidarity with the University of Ibadan Student Union(UI SU) in their stance against the recent fee hike and the struggles of the student body." The memo read.

In the memo, the association decried the fee increment , stating that it "disproportionately affects students from low income backgrounds." It urged the university to examine it's decision.
The association demanded the swift reversal of the few hike, honest discourse on students' care and ability to pay fees, and "improved infrastructure to justify any future few adjustments."

It urged "the university administration to prioritize students' well being and education rather than perpetuating a system that perpetuates inequality and financial burdens.
