Finally UI'SU' Reaches 7 - point Agreement with University Authorities

The Student Union, University of Ibadan, has reached a 7 - point resolution in its discussion over fee hike, electricity rationing and other students' challenges with the university authorities.
Aweda Oloye, UI'SU' president, made this agreement known. The points of agreement were:
• Non - victimization of student - protesters.

• Issuance of a memo discarding the previous electricity tariff increase as false.

• Postponement of GES tests till further notice.

• Restoration of power to ABH.

• A ban on the sale of handouts by lecturers.

• Special time slot made for students at Jaja clinic.

• Suspension of school fees payment till further notice and a review of the fees by the school's Governing Council.

The agreement marks victory for the students as students would be relieved.
