The Executives, Association of Faculty of Arts Students (AFAS), has on July 25, 2024, informed students of the faculty that July 29, 2024, will be declared a lecture - free day by the faculty management.
This information was contained in a WhatsApp broadcast signed by the President, Adeniyi Olamilekan (MOJUBA) and the Public Relations Officer, Oladosu Daniel(JACINTH).
"All Faculty of Arts Students are expected to be there, as the day will be declared LECTURE FREE DAY Hence, the attendance is compulsory for all AFasites," the statement read in part.
The lecture - free day is meant for the Faculty of Arts Distinguished Personality Lecture scheduled to hold in Trenchard Hall on the July 29, 2024, by 10:00am.
