The Council of Hall Chairpersons, have on the July 17, 2024, released a memo stating their support for the student protest on campus.
The council condemned the school's decision to ration electricity on campus as it would "cause undue hardships and disruption to the academic and extra - curricular activities" in the hall.
It demanded an immediate resolution to the crises. "We demand a prompt resolution to this issue and a sustainable solution to ensure uninterrupted power supply," the memo read.
