The Council of Faculty Presidents, University of Ibadan, has declared support for the student - representative body of the university, UI' SU' on July 17, 2024.
This information was contained in a memo issued by the council. The declaration of support emerged due to rationing of electricity on which the SU declared a protest resolution.
The council demanded, "Reversal of the new electricity rationing policy" and the total reversal of school fees hike."
