The University of Ibadan Student Representative Council (UI SRC) has on Saturday, 22 June 2024, approved a ₦160,000 budget for the purchase of union mobile phones.
Omotayo Olumide, the Public Relations Officer who presented the budget proposal, emphasized the strategic importance of the acquisition
The PRO stated that “The Redmi 13C will serve as the dedicated device for UISU TV, ensuring a consistent and high-quality platform for broadcasting union events and activities”
The approved budget stems from contributions by student entrepreneurs and alumni: Mr. Oladapo Ebunola: ₦10,000 (May 26th),Mr. Adewale Adeniyi, CEO of Dancity: ₦50,000 (May 30th), Mr. Olamilekan, CEO of Telecom Plug:₦100,000 (May 31st)
