The newly elected Student Union executives and Student Represntative Council members have been inaugurated on Monday, 13th of May, 2024 by the University of Ibadan school management.
The event saw the eight (8) elected candidates from the April 20th SU executive election and the seventy eight elected Student Represntative Council members (78) from the April 27th SRC
elections sworn in and presented with certificates of return.
The event which took place at the Trenchard Hall saw in attendance key members of the management including the Vice chancellor, Professor Kayode Adebowale, the school registrar, the dean of student affairs, among many others.
Speaking on behalf of the newly inaugurated student union officials, Aweda Bolaji, highlighted on the plans of his administration while also calling the attention of the school management to the fee hike situation.
The newly inaugurated executive members are: Aweda Bolaji - President, Aboderin Boluwatife - Vice President, Ogundijo Japheth - General Secretary, Christopher Onuh - Assistant General Secretary, Onyishi Christian - Treasurer, Elemide Daniel - House Secretary, Omotoye Olumide - PRO, and Adesina Daniel - Sports Secretary.
