By: Adebiyi Emmanuel The Nnamdi Azikiwe Hall Literary and Debating society held a meeting on Friday, 3rd May 2024 to appoint new executives for the upcoming session.
The meeting started with a speech from the outgoing president, Mr. Bodunde SpeakingEben thanking every member of the society for the support during his tenure and the work done towards winning the JAWWAR trophy in his tenure.
He added that Nnamdi Azikiwe Hall Literary and Debating society is one that is held in high esteem in the university, sighting that the new TLDS president is from the society, with the newly appointed Department of political science, Faculty of Renewable Natural Resources and Faculty of Science literary and debating society presidents coming from the Nnamdi Azikiwe Hall Literary and Debating society.
Before he introduced the executives , a new office was created within the society. The office of the Godfather which would be occupied by Daniel Oluborode. The new executives consists of Emmanuel ADEBIYI as PRO; Taiwo as general secretary; Obirija Somtochukwu as the speech Coach; Idowu Eniolorunda as Treasurer; Owoeye Mosope as vice president and Alexander Ogunbunmi as President.
