UI'SU Congress Demands Suspension of Election

The University of Ibadan Student Union Congress have demanded for the suspension of  the upcoming Student Union Elections amidst reactions to probable hike in tuition fees.


This demand was made  reached at the Congress of the students union held at the SUB foyer on Tuesday evening. 


This decision was reached by a unanimous 'Yes' vote of the quorum of students present at the meeting.


The decision  to suspend the election is in reaction to and in protest of the increase in fees which has been observed on the incoming freshman payment plat forms.


The UI'SU election is originally scheduled to hold on Saturday, 20th of April.
