The letter signed by the Union president, Samuel Samson Tobiloba and Union secretary, Olaniyi Sodeeq, stated that the declaration follows approval of the lecture free day by the University management.

This move is to encourage participation in the personality lecture which is slated to be held on that day.

The lecture titled "Exploring Personal Growth Outside Classroom: The strategies of an accomplished individual" is set to expose students/attendees to opportunities in Finance, Tech, Law, business and leadership.

The event is set to hold at Trenchard Hall by 10 am.
