The campaign displayed the support of people for the victims of gender based violence, whether in marriages or communities. It was both for supporters and victims. Over 50 UI students turned up despite the impromptu mobilization. The walk went from UI gate all the way to the State Secretariat.
The volunteer students wore orange shirts with inscriptions such “#I stand against violence”. They also carried placards with inscriptions such as “Love is Kind, Violence is blind”, “NO is NO”, “Gender equality is non-negotiable” among many other inscriptions.
