On Saturday 9th September 2023, the Nnamdi Azikiwe hall Chairman Uthman Adeniji, Yamburger, on the Issues Affecting Zik platform, announced the return to service of the water tank adjacent of B block after almost two years of inactivity.

In a post announcing the milestone, the hall Chairman gave a vote of thanks to the Hall Warden and the Hall Management for making the repairs possible.

The water tank which has been inactive for over two years was a major source of water for both occupants of B block and C block. And it’s inactivity has caused a lot of discomfort for the students, as they have to move to D block before they can get water and in some cases many have to move to A block before they can get access to water.

It must be said that the repair of this particular tank is a welcome development has it helps to reduce the burden of students from moving to other blocks that are far away from their own blocks. It is believed that return to service will serve relieve the burden of even the cafeterias who also need good and clean water in the process of running their business.

One would hope that the new state of the tank will be maintained and there will be no need for students to move to other blocks for water.
