The Nnamdi Azikiwe Hall finalist on Sunday 17th of September 2023 elects a new executive council for its elder forum, with Honourable Adewale Alabi emerging as the chairman of the council.
In the election which took place at the Zikhall JCR, Hon. Dewale as he is fondly called went unopposed, and he polled 15 votes out of an available 20 with 5 void votes.
In the same election, erstwhile Assistant general secretary of the student union, Arinola David Addo emerged as the Vice Chairman of the council as he also went unopposed and polled the total available votes of 20.
In thesame vein, Adeoye Joseph, emerged as the General secretary while Ayomide Hassan, Capacity, was voted as the PRO of the council.
The meeting also saw other agendas discussed with the celebration of Zikhall at 60, which is fast approaching, being a major talking point and also the repairs and maintenance of the dilapidated facilities of D block, with suggested ways to improve and maintain the affected areas.
