The Elders Council on Thursday 17th November 2022, passed out a news broadcast alerting the public on its decision to bring an end to and halt the usage of the D block facilities by external members.
The Elders Council which consists of finalist students residing in D block has decided to, through the news broadcast sent out, bring an end to an issue that is affecting its members regarding the use of their facilities by students who are not assigned to the block.
The broadcast which was passed to both the Zik hall finalist, Issues affecting Zik hall group, and other related groups in the hall, declared their intent to stop the use of the D block toilet and bathroom facilities by students who are not assigned to the hall. Below is the broadcast message.

The Chairman of the Elders Council, Hon. Adewale Adegunju, (aka Nadal) did not say more on the broadcast as he directed our correspondent to the broadcast message itself containing every piece of information that may be needed concerning his stance on the matter.
It must be noted that the hall just repaired the pumping machine in front of the D block which is now serving as a source of water supply for both D blockites and the C blockites in particular who have been left with no other choice due to the lack of water supply in the tanks assigned to the block.
It is pertinent to point out that most of the bathroom’s in D block are out of use due to leakages and other faults. As a result, most D block occupants have to share ground floor bathrooms which are still usable. It is therefore understandable that non-D blockites sharing facilities on the block is not appreciated.
