On Friday, 29th October, the Hall Management Committee of Nnamdi Azikiwe Hall, constitutionally recognised as the highest decision making body of the hall, held its first meeting for the session.

The meeting which kicked-off at about 2:00pm began with preliminary introductions. The Hall Warden updated the committee with reports on the management of the hall, particularly to keep the Hall Master abreast of goings-on within the hall. At the start of the meeting, the Hall Master had briefly remarked on the failure of the Executive council to pay him a courtesy visit at the beginning of the administration.

The Hall Chairman, Ejemeka Joshua, also made contributions at the meeting, pointing out the need to beef up security in the hall. He suggested the installation of lamps where necessary along floor corridors. Discussions afterwards shifted towards other matters including ensuring compliance of residents with the hall rules. A motion for adjournment of the meeting was thereafter moved by the hall supervisor, Mr Durowoju, and seconded by one of the Assistant Hall Wardens.

The committee presented him with a gift amidst the showering of befitting comments. The new Assistant Hall Warden appointed in his stead was also recognised.
