The valley looked terrifying from this high mountain
And my loud cry running through the air, piggy riding pain
Maybe this time my voice will reach out to him
Or like everybody else hes going to ignore me this one last time
Mother told me how father died while running to feed us
But you have another father she said, though he never eats with us
She took me to my new fathers house to know him better
But they wont stop talking about my fathers son
My knees hurt and my patience worn out
Dozens of night I spent holding eggs and staying awake
Grandma told me it was a grand way of inviting him for a tea party
He got the message apparently but never showed up
I guess he had better things to do. Who the hell am I anyway?
Im tired of begging for conversation
No one else is ready to hold, but will you also forsake me?
Many a times I stared right between the flames of bonfire
Hoping for a second youd speak out of it once again
Hoping this day would never come
Why! Why am I here?
Why am I suffering for what a glutton and a serpent did?
Why were they not destroyed and a new chapter started afresh?
Was everything a myth? Is reality an illusion?
I remember Stephens last words
He was an innocent teenager suffering from cancer
He could not say much but his eyes were asking the same questions
Why am I here Daddy? Why are we here?
Pastor said we are here to win souls for the kingdom of my new Father
Were they not all created by him? What happened?
Why let the mistake of one pass down to other generations
Oh what manner of love from a man who made his son die for him to be satisfied
Oh wait! Why not just destroy the devil himself?
Im tired of it all but the question keeps piling and yet unsolved
So I closed my eyes to escape reality that saddens me
Closed my journal to avoid more questions that bother me
Stepped down from the cold mountain and save the end for another day
Ah! Lets do it another time.
So what do we say to the god of suicide? Not today!
